Finally !
The long awaited opening of Gianni’s restaurant Al Casanova in the south
of Martinique.
Ina typically Caribbean atmosphere shaded by palms, Gianni offers
traditional Italian fare as well as his Napolitano specialties.
The house
specialties include il Piatto Casanovo, a rich assortment of Italian
antipasti; Arancino (orange) rice; prosciutto and melon; egg plant alla
parmigiana ….a true delicacy at these latitudes.!
The menu also includes such exceptional flavors as tagliatelle with
lobster, fisherman’s spaghetti, saltimbocca alla romana as well as
desserts of the house such as tiramisu and panna cotta…..
Only a few paces
from the center of S.Anne, in the direction of the Beauregard, Al
Casanova offers a warm welcome with home cooking, Italian wines and
great coffee just as you’d find in Italy.
The aperitifs, marsala o planteur are on the house!
