A note: All flights for Martinique depart from Paris Orly. The flights arriving from Italy land at the airport Charles de Gaulle, it is therefore necessary to transfer by land to Orly: budget 3 hours to transfer from one airport to the other. Several low cost airline companies offer flights directly from Italy to Paris Orly, but one must pay attention to the arrival times and allow for eventual delays so as not to miss your inter-continental flight.

It is also possible to travel by other routes, making stopovers and tailor made arrangements.
Martinique is connected by Air Caraibe with regular flights to Guadalupe and her islands, Saint Martin, St Lucia, Barbados, Santo Domingo, Canouan in the Grenadines islands.
The company Liat serves numerous other islands in the region, via St Lucia.
Not to forget the connections with the USA (via Porto Rico and via Haiti), with Canada and South America: Cayenne (French Guyana), Belem (Brasil).

Martinique’s one major airport, Lamentin, is 9km east of Fort De France and less that 40 minutes to all of the islands tourist zones.
Transfer from the airport to your hotel can be made by Taxi or hire car or by arrangement with your hotel.
