The Lamentin International Airport is only ten minutes by road from Fort-de-France and circa 20 minutes from the principal tourist centers.

 

 There is a tourist information kiosk, several car hire agencies, souvenir shops, duty free, news agent, pharmacy and restaurant.
 

There is also the major agency for Air France on the island and the representatives for the other airline companies on the island.
