Fort de France |
|
Fort
de France is the capital of Martinique and the largest city in the
French Antilles.The town centre still maintains its colonial feel
with buildings dating back to the start of the century and monuments
that merit a visit whilst offering shops and restaurants of every
description.

Saint Pierre |
|
Historic
capital of Martinique at the base of the Pelée Mountain was
destroyed in 1902 by the eruption of the volcano at the mountain’s
core. Today Saint Pierre is a pretty town offering lots of history
and views to die for…

Habitation Clément |
|
Inland
from le Francois, in the region of Acajou, the plantation Clément an
ex distillery now an historic monument of Martinique.
The colonial house is beautiful and the botanic park that surrounds
it are well worth a walk.

Route de la Trace |
|
La
Route de la Trace is a path followed by Gesuits since the XVII
Century. Winding its way through the tropical forests from Fort de
France to it opens upon the northern coast at Pitons du Carbet.

Trekking
and excursion

To the north the forest with the Pitones du
