In the heart of St
Luce, a typical fishing town on the Caribbean sea, restaurant Papayou
offers an original cuisine elaborated with fresh local produce. A
relaxing atmosphere, with just a handful of tables, the warm welcome of
the owners David & Lucie is homecoming. They also host the space to
local artists, where the local art mixes with the flavours and perfumes
of the French & Creole cuisine.
Musical atmosphere at the weekends.
The menu changes everyday somewhat based on the fresh fish of the day.
To note the lobster menu at 35€ and fresh Martinique river shrimp, of
which Papayou is the only restaurant in Ste Luce to be offering this on
their menu. The home made desserts like the flan coco, the coco blanc
mange and the sweet crepes flambé in old rum is a speciality of the
house, completes the menu.
The dish of the day, at the base of fresh fish is offered at 12€.
